Week 1: Inquiring into Body Systems
This week we will inquire into the circulatory system.
But first, let's tune in and see what we already know!

Week 2
This week we are inquiring into the circulatory system through the concepts of form, function, connection and responsibility. Check back soon for more videos and research that we find.
Here are a few videos that may give you some things to think about.
Find some new information? Bring it in and share with the class!

Week 3
Self-Chosen inquiry
The next couple weeks will be all about inquiring into a particular body system. Students were given choices of how they will inquire, which concept they would like to learn about and what they would create. The only rule was that they had to choose something they weren't already good at so they could practise further and improve.
Here is what they planned in 5S...
And the inquiry began...
Exploring the digestive systemUsing a model to make a demonstration
Through the concept of function |
Testing theories about the skeletal systemMaking a Kahoot
Through the concept of causation |
Researching about the muscular systemCreating an article on Google Docs
Through the concept of form |
Students will continue their inquiries next week, as we also practise for assembly.
Students will present their findings in their body system groups the week after next!
Week 6
Students are presenting their inquiries this week and then making further improvements after feedback is given.
